Stuntman: Hollywood Wasn’t Allowed to Show Jurassic Park in Reveal Trailer

Stuntman: Hollywood also has Jurassic Park as one of its collaborations, but the developers weren’t allowed to showcase it in the reveal trailer.

During the most recent PlayStation State of Play event, players learned about a new Stuntman game, nearly two decades after the last installment. The trailer featured high-intensity stunts reminiscent of various film properties. However, one notable franchise was absent from the reveal trailer, and we now have some insight into why.

Stuntman: Hollywood Includes Jurassic Park, But It Couldn’t Be Shown in the Reveal Trailer

A new report by Stephen Totilo on GameFile reveals that Stuntman: Hollywood also includes Jurassic Park, but wasn’t allowed to showcase it in the State of Play announcement. Saber CEO Matt Karch disclosed that Saber, the developers of the upcoming Stuntman title, were not permitted to showcase their collaboration. The issue stemmed from a lack of communication over several months regarding Jurassic Park announcements, which also affected the timeline for Stuntman Hollywood’s announcement.

Matt Karch has informed players that he was not given an explanation for the communication issues, but Universal has stated that the problem has now been resolved. The lack of communication affected not only Stuntman Hollywood but also all social media channels associated with the upcoming film, which fell silent from mid-March to June 2. However, it appears that Jurassic Park is back in action on all fronts, with the development of Jurassic Park Survival looking very promising.

Talking about the properties Stuntman Hollywood has, replay iconic moments from Universal Pictures films and NBCUniversal TV shows like Fast & Furious, Back to the Future, Knight Rider, Miami Vice, and Death Race, as well as Jurassic Park, now confirmed through the report.

In other news, check out all the announcements that arrived during the latest PlayStation State of Play event. Additionally, a new God of War game was finally revealed, featuring Faye as the lead.
