Hades 2 Hotfix Addresses Many Issues and Mystery Seed Locations

The latest hotfix for Hades 2 addresses numerous issues and enhances quality of life in the game. Released on June 3, this second post-launch patch includes fixes for visual and collision problems, as well as some rare crashes.

One notable addition is an inventory hint that indicates where players can find Mystery Seeds. Tons of interactions between the gods have been fixed as well.

Even though this is just a hot fix and not a major update, major elements of the game are still adjusted. This includes boss battles. These fixes include fixing an issue where “the barrier from Snow Queen (Demeter) could vanish unexpectedly at a certain point in the fight against Unrivaled Typhon.

Other Typhon-related fixes have been added, such as Chronos no longer being able to attack him more frequently than expected.

Hades 2 General Reception

Hades 2 was released in September 2025. It currently sits at a 95 Metascore on Metacritic, with several outlets giving it a perfect score, especially for the Nintendo Switch 2 edition.

On Steam, the game currently has an overwhelmingly positive review score with over 63,000 reviews in English. The game also won the Steam Award for the best game on Steam Deck in 2025.
