A new Stuntman game has been announced, and Stuntman Hollywood has arrived with an adrenaline-filled trailer.
Stuntman Hollywood is an arcade racer that will put the players straight into a spectacular set piece and never let up. The upcoming title has been inspired by some of the greats in the genre, including the original Stuntman games, Burnout, and Split/Second.
Stuntman Series is Back
As the title is all about filming, players will get to replay iconic moments from Universal Pictures films and NBCUniversal TV shows like Fast & Furious, Back to the Future, Knight Rider, Miami Vice, and Death Race. You will perform all kinds of stunts across different shoots, using a variety of vehicles, including the DeLorean.
Stuntman Hollywood’s format will follow players as they shoot for different large-scale movies, with each movie split into episodes, each with its own vehicle, gameplay twists, environment, pace, objectives, and scenes. Each episode will also feature a different stunt-based challenge, such as performing drifts, holding a tight line, crashing through obstacles, dodging fire, riding on two wheels, etc.
These stunts are time-limited, and players have a limited number of takes, since movies don’t have unlimited budgets. But there’s also a free stunt mode, where the stuntman receives more freedom to be creative. The title will use a star system to reward stunts; the more stars, the better.
Other inclusions include a garage to showcase your utensils, tips, tiphies, and keepsakes, and it also displays your in-game progress. There are additional modes such as B-roll episodes, short filler films, and stunt arenas, which add more stunts, tougher challenges, and more unexpected scenes.
