Stellar Blade’s new update is causing issues when launching the game for some players; the developers have advised uninstalling mods to resolve the problem.
Stellar Blade’s new update, patch 1.3.0, has arrived today on Steam, almost 2 months after the June 18 update. Since then, the developers have fallen victim to cryptocurrency scammers who took over the game’s social media. Now, a new problem has arisen from the latest Stellar Blade patch, which requires players to uninstall their mods.
Stellar Blade Players Are Facing Problems with Patch 1.3.0
Spotted by PCGamesN, several players are raising complaints about the game not launching on the Steam forum. One developer, who goes by the name Wolfcastle, has replied on the forum stating there might be “an incompatibility with UE4SS (Unreal Engine 4 Scripting System) or mod you are using”. Wolfcastle has advised players to delete these files from their PC before launching the game and observe if the issue gets resolved. If it still doesn’t work for you, then you will have to wait until Shift Up finds a permanent solution.
Stellar Blade’s new patch introduces several fixes, along with an improvement to the Photo Mode. The photo mode now displays the logo control indicator when a logo is selected. New fixes have been introduced for the shop, cutscenes, voice-over lines, FSR scaler, and more. Interested readers can check out the full patch notes for Stellar Blade update 1.3.0 here.
