Sony has let slip that a Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo is launching for PlayStation 5 (PS5) on Tuesday.
In what was likely something that was supposed to be held for the Final Fantasy 7 State of Play, the PlayStation store had a trailer published for a demo of the upcoming game. According to the store page, the demo will allow players to “step into the shoes of either Cloud or Sephiroth during the Nibelheim episode.”
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth launches exclusively on PS5 on February 29. If you haven’t played Final Fantasy 7 Remake — available on PS5, PS4, and PC — or have forgotten what’s happened, the game will offer a video recap for anyone who loads up the second game in the remake trilogy.
The aforementioned dedicated State of Play for the game takes place on Tuesday, February 6 at 6:30pm ET/11:30pm GMT. It’ll be available to watch on Sony’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
Insider Gaming will have full coverage of all the news announced during the event.
