Resident Evil x Universal Studios Japan Collaboration Announced

Resident Evil is partnering with Universal Studios Japan.

During the most recent Capcom Spotlight Showcase, it was announced that Universal Studios Japan will be hosting a tie-in collaboration to celebrate Resident Evil Requiem. None of the specifics of the collaboration were shared, but it was made clear that the tie-in would be available in 2026. This is to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary game series.

Additionally, there will be a new tie-in arcade game centered around Resident Evil 2. The game is in collaboration with Bandai Namco.

Resident Evil Requiem was released at the end of February 2026 and became one of the highest-rated games of the year thus far. It’s also the fastest-selling Resident Evil game yet. Learn more about that at this link.
