If you ever wanted to try Resident Evil Outbreak, now’s the time, as it’s completely free and can be played through your browser.
Capcom released Resident Evil Outbreak for the PlayStation 2 back in 2003/04, and since then there has been no re-release of the game for any of the modern consoles or PC systems. So if you didn’t have a PS2 or were running an emulator, you had no other way to try the game until now, since it’s now playable in your browser.
Resident Evil Outbreak Playable Solo or Online Through Browser for Free
Spotted by TheGamer, a new website has popped up which allows players to play Resident Evil Outbreak’s five original scenarios and five new scenarios through your browser for free. Players will not need to download anything to run the title, and it seems the game relies on graphics card acceleration or hardware performance. Readers should note that this project isn’t officially affiliated with Capcom.

For those unaware, Resident Evil Outbreak was one of the first titles in the franchise to feature an online mode, which let up to 4 players join together during a match. Players can choose from eight citizens as they dive into episodic journeys that present different situations. Each character has their own distinct ability, and players can either have two AI companions when running solo or have their friends join the playthrough.
