Dispatch Heads To Mobile For First Anniversary, Along With New Modes

A year ago, AdHoc Studio released Dispatch to the world on PC and PlayStation. Since then, it’s been released on other platforms like Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Now, there’s another system players can experience Dispatch on: mobile.

To celebrate the game’s one-year anniversary, AdHoc announced that the game is coming to iOS and Android on December 9. The game has been updated to suit the smaller screens and will be available for all modern phones.

But that’s not all for players.

Dispatch Gets New Game Modes

In addition to the mobile version of the game, AdHoc is releasing two new game mode features for Dispatch. While these modes don’t add anything in terms of the story or extra scenes, what you will get are unique perspectives to the experience.

The first new mode is a “Storyboard Mode”. This allows players to play Dispatch “the way it was first drawn”.

“Every episode, start to finish, as the original storyboard animatics, so you can see how the scenes and characters were designed before a single frame was animated,” AdHoc said.

The other mode is a “Cast & Crew Commentary” Mode. This allows you to play the game with over 16 hours of commentary across every episode. Players have two tracks to choose from in the settings—Cast or Crew. The choices you make in the game will give you different commentary, depending on the situation, giving you more insight into the world of Dispatch.

A price for the mobile version of the game hasn’t been announced yet. However, the two new modes are available for free for those with the Deluxe Edition of the game. Should you have the base game and want to get access to those modes, you can upgrade to the Deluxe Edition for $10.99.

Both “Cast & Crew Commentary” and “Storyboard Mode” are available now. The game is also available for 20% off on Steam.
