Red Bull has announced the third iteration of Red Bull League of Its Own, the invitational League of Legends showmatch event.
After events in Paris in 2024 and Munich in 2025, Red Bull is taking the event to the Olimpic Arena Badalona in Barcelona, coming this December.
The 12,000-capacity arena was host to the recent Valorant Champions Tour EMEA Stage 2 Finals, also serving as the venue for the LEC Versus Finals earlier in the year.
While the LEC Versus format is no more, Red Bull League of Its Own shows no signs of stopping going into its third event, so let’s see what we know so far about the event.
Red Bull League of Its Own 2026 Date, Teams, and Format
Like previous events, Red Bull League of Its Own 2026 will take place over a single day of non-stop action. The event will take place on December 5 in the Olimpic Arena Badalona.
The teams are also confirmed for the now four-team event. The teams for Red Bull League of Its Own 2026 are:
- T1
- G2
- Movistar KOI
- Karmine Corp
T1 returns for the third time, with European fans once again getting the chance to show appreciation for Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok in person.
The most-supported team in League of Legends history will test themselves against the best in the West, the three qualified rosters to Worlds 2026, as they aim to get a rare win against the LCK titans.
But that’s far from the only storyline between these rosters, with the French and Spanish regional rivalry once again taking centre stage as Karmine Corp and MKOI face each other again.
Both will want to get wins against G2, who have dominated all the LEC Playoffs in 2026, winning every split, despite not topping the table in any of the regular seasons in 2026.
The event’s previous iterations had six and five teams, respectively, with NNO Old and the now-disbanded Los Ratones absent from the 2026 lineup.
The exact format of the event is yet to be announced, but it will likely feature Best of 1s between the four rosters, allowing for the maximum number of matchups between each roster.
