If you’re a Rayman fan, you’d better free up a lot of free time on your schedule. We’ve learned from one of the more reliable sources in the industry that not only is the soon-to-be announced Rayman Legends: Retold going to feature couch co-op, but you also get a free Rayman game on top of it!
There’s been a lot of talk about Rayman Legends Remake ‘Retold’ leaking online, with some elated, and others a bit miffed about one of the most recent Rayman games (that still holds up well) getting the remake treatment.
Nevertheless, Legends is still one of the highest-rated platformers of all time, and Retold’s Price is fairly generous—and much more reasonable than the XBOX Store listing the Rayman Origins remaster for $2,000.
Rayman Legends: Retold Remake Also Includes Rayman Origins

It’s time for a new report from billbil-kun, and they have said ‘Rayman Legends Retold should feature a couch co-op mode only (not online)’ and that you can expect the Retold remake to come with ‘A free copy of Rayman Origin[s] Enhanced Edition.’
Not only this, but Retold also annoyingly requires a full download if you own the physical edition of the game.
Even though it’s blurry, billbil-kun has also included a ‘preview’ image of what appears to be the official box art as well.
It appears to be a two-for-one deal, then. The original Rayman Legends did include a hefty amount of Rayman Origins levels at launch, and now you’re getting the whole shebang.
The only slight downside is that Retold’s co-op mode is not online, and you’ll have to be within touching distance of your Rayman partner to enjoy the adventure together.
It’s only a matter of time before Rayman Legends: Retold is formally announced. Will you be buying it? Which other Rayman game needed the remake treatment more? Share your thoughts and suggestions through the Insider Gaming Discord.
