An Enhanced Edition of Rayman Origins briefly hit the XBOX Store with an obnoxious placeholder price point.
The game originally released back in November of 2011 for PC, the Nintendo Wii, the Sony PlayStation 3, the PlayStation Vita, and the Nintendo 3DS. This new version was listed with a $2,000 tag before the game’s page was taken down.
Rayman Origins Enhanced Edition Features 4K and 60 FPS
The game featured up to four-player couch co-op, over 60 levels, and 100 characters. Of course, the hook for this version is the enhanced visuals.
“Enjoy Rayman Origins like never before with 4K resolution, 60 FPS, and modern enhancements, including new quality-of-life features. Discover 60 hidden Relics across the adventure and track your progress in the Snoring Tree,” read the game’s description.
It is not known when the game will re-emerge in digital shops or what the actual price will be. There’s also no set release date for the upcoming Ubisoft remaster. Insider Gaming will continue to monitor the story and report any updates as more information becomes available.
For more Rayman news, it was recently confirmed that the remake of Rayman Legends is now dubbed “Rayman Legends Retold.” A price point for that game was revealed. Check out all that information, along with details about multiplayer, the physical edition, and more, at this link.
