GTA 6 Will Have ‘Improved Performance’ and ‘More Stable FPS’ on PS5 Pro

A new listing for GTA 6 has revealed that the game will run better on the PlayStation 5 Pro, which is dubbed ‘the most powerful console on the market’.

The news came from a new GTA 6 listing from the Brazilian retailer Kabum.

GTA 6 Runs Best on PS5 Pro

The full description of the PS5 Pro listing reads, “Optimization for PS5 Pro: Enjoy improved performance, more stable frame rates (FPS), and even sharper resolutions on the most powerful console on the market.”

There’s one small catch, though: the PS5 Pro is also the most expensive console on the market right now, coming in at a whopping $900 for those in the US. The latest price increase came in March 2026, and with Xbox raising prices just yesterday, it could also indicate that PlayStation may raise its prices again before the launch of GTA 6.

That being said, PlayStation is seemingly going all in with its marketing of GTA 6 and dubbing its console the best place to play the game, and with potentially millions of additional consoles being sold because of GTA 6’s release, it’s not surprising.

Other retailer listings have also revealed new key details about GTA 6, including the fact that the game will have a new ‘integrated social network’, where players can “Watch viral videos, follow influencers, and discover world events through your in-game mobile phone.”
