Amazon has started merchandising for Grand Theft Auto 6, and in doing so, has revealed some new details about the game via product pages in some territories. Eagle-eyed fans have noticed, for example, that the Brazilian store page has some information that other territories do not, including details about the in-game social media system that has been teased through trailers.
According to Amazon, Grand Theft Auto 6 will boast ‘a greater sense of immersion’ than any other GTA game, with NPCs that have routines, joined by ‘interactive establishments’ and random events.
Hardly a Surprise, Though
Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to have one of the richest and densest open-world maps in history, purely because of the trailer content we’ve seen thus far, the promises made by Take-Two and Rockstar Games, and the precedent set by games like Red Dead Redemption 2.
For instance, Red Dead famously features an evolving open world that grows as the game unravels. People age, building projects are completed, technology advances, and logic keeps up with the way the story unfolds. Using that as a foundation, we can imagine those concepts have been doubled down on in Grand Theft Auto 6.
The latest discovery of more information on a GTA 6 pre-order page on Amazon supports that, but it also furthers the notion of what’s coming.
For example, the social network piece that we’ve seen teased in trailers, particularly in the game’s first trailer, is mentioned:
INTEGRATED SOCIAL NETWORKS: Watch viral videos, follow influencers, and discover world events through your in-game mobile phone.
For the longest time, we’ve thought that this element would be a critical part of Grand Theft Auto 6. Many have theorized that building a following on social media will play a key part in how the story unfolds, and knowing how Rockstar Games likes to parody the real world, it’s easy to imagine a string of applications in-game that mimic what we use today.
We’ve already seen a nod to video-sharing platforms like TikTok emerging in the game, and this is far from the first time that such a thing has happened.

In GTA 5, released in 2013, we see parody platforms everywhere. Snapmatic is a copy of Instagram, Bleeter is a replication of Twitter, and Lifeinvader is a mirror of Facebook. It’s a solid assumption that all of these and more will come back in GTA 6, launching on November 19.
The GTA 6 Amazon page also explains that users will be able to switch dynamically between Jason and Lucia, but will also participate in missions as a duo, which is the same way things worked in GTA 5. There was also a mention of the next-generation graphics, the larger map with more biomes, and the immense sense of immersion provided by more believable NPCs and world-building elements.
It’s worth bearing in mind that, as no other territory replicates this information, it could be erroneous or an AI-generated biography of the game. It’s worth staying tuned to Insider Gaming to learn the latest about GTA 6 as it comes.
