Pragmata Sells Over One Million Copies in Two Days

Pragmata has experienced a strong launch week, with the game already selling a million copies.

We are not even halfway through 2026, and Capcom has already delivered two banger titles. Resident Evil Requiem was released earlier this year and became the fastest-selling title in the franchise. Now, their new IP has gained some speed as well, hitting a huge milestone within just 2 days since launch.

Pragamata Has Already Sold One Million Copies

A new press release from Capcom reveals a new sales milestone for Pragmata, with the title crossing 1 million copies in just 2 days. Pragmata is an original IP from a team of young developers at Capcom that offers players a brand-new world and gameplay concept to explore. The developers have stated that “Moving forward, we will continue making every effort to deliver the appeal of Pragmata to an even broader audience.”

The press release also mentions the marketing initiatives the team took to help reach the milestone. First was the early release of the game’s demo, which helped players understand the “unique features of the game.” Another factor that helped sales was announcing multi-platform support, including the Switch 2. The developers have stated, “Capcom remains firmly committed to satisfying the expectations of all users by leveraging its industry leading game development capabilities in order to create highly entertaining gameplay experiences.”

In other news, Pragmata has also gone and become one of Capcom’s all-time top-rated games on Steam. Additionally, here’s the complete list of trophies and achievements for the game.
