How to Get Twine in Pokémon Pokopia—Twine Location, Explained

There is a wealth of resources to gather and use in Pokémon Pokopia, though few have as much importance as Twine, especially if you’re looking for easy navigation across the various zones in the game.

Similar to games like Animal Crossing and Minecraft, materials like twine in Pokopia are required for crafting, ranging from basic decoration items to crucial tools that are used to create specific Pokémon Habitats and attract new friends to the region.

If you’re on the hunt for Twine in Pokémon Pokopia and want all the details to find it, Insider Gaming has you covered.

Twine is a resource in Pokopia that cannot be crafted, either using a crafting bench or requesting direct help from Pokémon, but there’s plenty to go about.

Although not required in the initial area in Pokopia, expanding into new zones will increase the need for Twine, and you will soon find that you need an abundance of it.

Twine can be collected by destroying textile garbage, shown in the image above, or by destroying spiderwebs you find in your exploration.

The best way to secure Twine, however, is to visit a Bug-type Pokémon with the Litter Speciality, like Spinarak and Volcarona. Periodically, these Pokémon will drop Twine around the locations they are living, giving you a quick bunch whenever required.

Alternatively, bundles of Twine can also be purchased from the PC outside of any Pokémon Center, though the number in stock is limited, and is also available on Dream Islands when using the Pikachu Doll.

What is Twine Used For in Pokémon Pokopia

Twine is a resource in Pokopia that will regularly be required in crafting and for building, so it’s always worth having plenty at your disposal.

Similar to Vine Rope, Twine is often used in crafting for a wide array of items, including chairs, beds, party bunting, sandbags, and more.

One of the most important uses for Twine is to create a Ditto Flag, which is used to mark a house you want to live in. Without marking a house as your home, you won’t be able to fast travel to that area.

As Twine is more easily accessible in the Bleak Beach biome, it’s worth stocking up on the resource in that environment before you travel anywhere else to ensure you have what is required to craft a Ditto Flag as soon as possible.
