Skip Intro/Tutorial & Orphanage
Look, the first time you play Resident Evil Requiem, you sneak through every sequence, and you’re fighting for your life on Standard difficulty—taking in everything that Capcom has worked so hard on. In subsequent playthroughs, it’s understandable that you want to get to the meat of the matter, and this makes the intro and orphanage segments redundant and a bit of a slog.

It’s unclear when the Thomas the Tank Engine mod craze started, but since it did, Thomas has choo-choo’d his way into many games. You can add Resident Evil Requiem to this list, and if the Giant Spider and its children are an unsightly visual menace for you, replace it with the Awdry family’s infamous blue train.

Like Thomas, it’s hard to go through new mods for a game without seeing that damn train, sorry, CJ, as a mod. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas’ iconic main character gets about, and he can valiantly step into Leon’s shoes.
