Pokémon Pokopia has plenty of resources and materials to find, the majority of which are used for crafting, but Rainbow Feathers work entirely different and their use won’t become apparent until later in the story.
Pokopia features hundreds of Pokémon that you can encounter by creating their required habitats, but there are also some Legendary Pokémon to be found. Among these is Ho-Oh, which will appear randomly throughout the game.
If you want to get your hands on Rainbow Feathers in Pokopia or want to know what to do with them, Insider Gaming has everything you need to know.
How to Get Rainbow Feathers in Pokémon Pokopia

Rainbow Feathers in Pokopia can only be obtained by collecting those that drop from the Legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh.
Ho-Oh sporadically appears in Pokopia, flying across the sky, and can be spotted by looking up. However, as you will likely be preoccupied with many tasks, the biggest clue is the loud cry Ho-Oh makes.
Wherever you are on the map, even if you are deep inside a cave, you will be easily able to hear the unmistakable cry of Ho-Oh. When you hear the cry, it’s your call to go and hunt for the items dropped by the cover character of Pokémon Gold.
When dropped, the Rainbow Feather has a clear trail directing you to exactly where it lands, and, once it hits the ground, smoke will appear trailing off it. Both act like a beacon directing you to its precise spot.
Once you find a Rainbow Feather, use Water Gun to douse the flames and then interact with the item by hitting Y to pick it up, or hold Y to inhale it and other nearby items.
How to Use Rainbow Feathers in Pokémon Pokopia
Rainbow Feathers are exchanged with Gimmighoul in Rocky Ridges, who is waiting in the ruins of a museum deep inside the caves and volcano.
Rocky Ridges should be a familiar environment for fans of the Pokémon franchise, as it’s actually the remains of Pewter City. As you explore the area, you will come across the museum. If you’re yet to find this spot, head deep into the caves right of the Pokémon Center and continue through to reach the lava area.
You may need to use Water Gun on the lava to create a path across various areas to reach the museum, but it isn’t too tricky to find.
Inside the museum, speak to Gimmighoul and trade the Rainbow Feathers for special items, including rare furniture. You can also trade any Lost Relic that has been appraised by Tangrowth for another item.
