New content is dropping in Pokémon Pokopia with the start of the first limited-time event. Now, Cotton Spores are in the game.
While the Pokopia Pokédex is already stacked with 300 Pokémon, more are on the way. The first of these is Hoppip, and, after meeting the Pokémon, you are asked to collect Cotton Spores.
If you’re on the hunt for Cotton Spores and want to know where to find them, or how to use them, Insider Gaming has all the details.
Where to Find Cotton Spores in Pokopia

Cotton Spores can only be obtained by visiting Dream Islands in Pokopia. You can only visit one Dream Island a day.
Dream Islands are a great source of resources in Pokopia, and you are introduced to the mechanic early in the story by the arrival of Drifloon.
There are two options for visiting a Dream Island: you can either show Drifloon a Pokémon Plush to trigger the trip, or interact with a Plush in the environment to summon Drifloon.

Cotton Spores are available on any Dream Island, so any Plush can be used. However, the other resources on the island vary depending on the Plush used.
The best course of action, as trips are limited to one Dream Island a day, is to check which resources you are in need of and head to an island that provides them. While you’re there, gather as many Cotton Spores as you can.
How to Use Cotton Spores in Pokopia
Cotton Spores act as a new currency in Pokopia during the special event period that began on March 10.
After visiting a Dream Island, head inside any rebuilt Pokémon Center to find Hoppip inside. It will have a selection of special items, decorations, and Dandy Seeds to purchase.

All of the items are only available for a limited time. However, time skipping works in Pokopia, allowing you to jump ahead to unlock new content and explore new Dream Islands, and it may work if you go back in time to access the event period.
The More Spores For Hoppip event in Pokopa runs from 5 am local time on March 10 through to 4:59 am local time on March 25.
