Sony looks to have added a bit more value to PS Plus subscriptions with the introduction of new Perks, although they largely consist of free trials for various services, some of which you might already have.
PlayStation Plus still offers its Essentials, Extra, and Premium tiers, featuring a range of games. However, if you want a bit more from your subscription, then Sony might have answered your prayers.
New Perks Added to PS Plus
Sony revealed on social media:
‘Introducing new perks for PlayStation Plus members.
Enjoy a range of special offers, trials and discounts from PlayStation, Sony and select partners. All included with your PlayStation Plus membership.’
When you click on the link and check out the benefits, it automatically redirects you to seven new Perks. They range from a YouTube Premium free trial to money off on Audible.

Here’s every new Perk included in PS Plus:
- 3-month YouTube Premium trial.
- 2-month Calm Premium trial.
- SONY PICTURES CORE movie credit.
- Save on Audible.
- 20% off DAZN boxing subscription.
- 5% discount when you shop directly through PlayStation, and £10 off DualSense Wireless Controllers.
- Save 10% on gaming and audio products through Sony Electronics.
Perks are included with every tier of PlayStation Plus, and they are also applicable if you’re only subscribed to PS Plus through a free trial. Obviously, if you take up Sony on any of the trial offers, be wary that they are just free trials.
