Footage of Persona 3 Remake Leaks Online

Footage of the long-rumored Persona 3 Remake has allegedly leaked online. Originally posted by Twitter user AVtoGAMEnoYAMI on April 4, the footage received skepticism online due to its high detail, leaving people to believe the footage was fan made.

According to the user in a follow-up tweet, the footage originated from an internal SEGA meeting in 2021.

In addition to the footage, Twitter user @MbKKssTBhz5 has also found that the domain http://P3RE.JP was registered on March 15, 2023. Although such a domain could be registered by anyone, Twitter user @Neoxon619 has since weighed in to show that the website has the same domain provider as Persona 5 Royal’s website.

Gematsu recently weighed in on the footage saying, “While we cannot verify the footage itself, Gematsu understands that a Persona 3 remake has been in development at ATLUS for several years.” Insider Gaming can also corroborate this reporting, but cannot independently verify the legitimacy of the footage leaked.

As for when the Persona 3 Remake will be announced remains to be seen, but the upcoming and rumored PlayStation Showcase is the most likely candidate.
