Several reputable leakers have claimed that the rumored Persona 3 Remake will be named ‘Persona 3 Reload’.
The first of the claims came very ResetEra user ‘I’m A Hero Too‘, who hinted at the name in several cryptic messages. Soon after, another leaker, who has accurately leaked Persona-related news in the past claimed on Twitter that the title of the remake is ‘Persona 3 Reload’. The same user has also suggested that the game will release this winter, likely around November.
So far, Insider Gaming has only been able to independently verify that the Persona 3 Remake is in development, but hasn’t been able to pinpoint when the game will be revealed. However, the two likely shows for the reveal are today’s Summer Games Fest and Sunday’s Xbox Games Showcase.
A recent domain update for the ‘P3R3’ website also suggests that the remake announcement is on the horizon. Past Persona games including Persona Q2, Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight & Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, Catherine: Full Body, Persona 5 Royal all received domain updates several days before their announcements and teases.
Footage of the long-rumored Persona 3 Remake allegedly leaked online earlier this year. Originally posted by Twitter user AVtoGAMEnoYAMI on April 4, the footage received skepticism online due to its high detail, leaving people to believe the footage was fan made. According to the user in a follow-up tweet, the footage originated from an internal SEGA meeting in 2021.
