Aggro Crab, the developers behind the viral game Peak, have announced that the game has sold over 5 million copies in under a month.
The announcement comes after the game hit its all-time concurrent player peak of 114,492 last week.
In a post to its social media accounts, it reads, “5 million copies sold, in like, a little under a month WHAT?”
What is Peak?

Peak is a brand-new indie game developed by Aggro Crab and Landfall, a cooperative climbing game that supports up to four players. The premise is simple: climb to the top of the mountain.
A unique selling point of the game is that the map cycles every 24 hours, meaning that each time is different, and the map never repeats itself. It means that every single day, players get to experience a completely new map with different challenges.

The game has been praised for its “meme-like” style, but its developers have said that it will not add cannibalism into the game despite player requests.
At the moment, Peak is only available for the PC via Steam, and the developers have not yet commented on whether the game will be coming to consoles, but hitned that it “might” in the future.
Regardless, the developers have promised that the peak will have continuous and substantial updates moving forward.
