The reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2, or whatever the company plans to call it, is currently planned for June, according to a new report.
Brazilian journalist Pedro Henrique Lutti Lippe, who has successfully leaked Nintendo announcements in the past , says the reveal of the successor to the Nintendo Switch is scheduled for June 2024.
In addition to the next console announcement, the same leaker says a general Nintendo Direct will be coming in April. An Indie World Showcase, he adds, could be coming in March.
“Everything in flux always, but I’m feeling good,” he said.
For what it’s worth, I’ve been told something similar by a source but have yet to fully confirm June as being the 100% for sure month. Until certain confirmation comes from either Insider Gaming or Nintendo itself, please take the report as a grain of salt, no matter h ow reliable the source has been in the past.
Insider Gaming has reached out to Nintendo for comment on the report, but it’s not likely a response will be received.
Recently, multiple reports, originally also revealed by Lutti Lippe, have surfaced claiming the next Nintendo Switch is set to launch in the first quarter of 2025.
