Nintendo has officially announced the next Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase event for this week.
Running 25 minutes, the partner showcase will highlight games coming to the Nintendo Switch “in the first half of 2024.” The showcase will air on Nintendo’s YouTube account at Noon ET/9am PT on Wednesday, February 21.
As far as what games will appear during the event, nothing has been confirmed. One game rumored to be there is Penny’s Big Breakaway.

Nintendo insider Pyoro has also hinted at Game Freak, the Pokemon developer, being a part of the showcase as well.
Aside from that, everything else is anyone’s guess. One thing that won’t be mentioned is anything regarding the Nintendo Switch 2, or whatever the company decides to call it. Recently, reports began to surface that the successor to the Switch won’t be coming until Q1 2025.
The Nintendo Direct was originally expected to happen last week. However, when Microsoft announced its plan to hold a podcast regarding the future of Xbox, the decision was allegedly made to push the showcase back to this week.
