Fallout Special Anthology Set Launches on April 11th

According to a new blog post from Bethesda, a new Fallout Special Anthology will release on April 11th and pre-orders are available now.

The ‘Fallout S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Anthology’ will include seven Fallout games:

  • Fallout
  • Fallout 2
  • Fallout Tactics
  • Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition
  • Fallout: New Vegas – Ultimate Edition
  • Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition
  • Fallout 76

Additionally, this unique anthology set comes with a model mini-nuke case for your games. The replica also features audible bomb sounds.

Players will get to redeem each of the seven games via collectible Vault Boy cards. So, this comprehensive set is ideal for newcomers.

There are bound to be many new fans coming aboard, ahead of the Amazon Prime live-action Fallout TV series adaptation. The show first revealed a story trailer in December 2023.

Although many longtime fans probably already own these milestone games, the Special Anthology boasts some remarkable collectibles.

The mini nuke has a variety of thoughtful details, and the cards feature the franchise’s signature sense of humor. Superfans are sure to appreciate the replica nuke.

Also, this Special Anthology set does feature special editions for relevant titles in the series. So, there might be a new upgrade to invest in.

However, this upcoming set is also nearly identical to the 2015 set, aside from games adding an extra $10 of value or so.

The Special Anthology release date news shortly follows Epic Games denying players some free Fallout games.

Between February 22nd and the 29th, fans expected to get Fallout 1, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics for free. However, Epic Games quietly removed this option and added Super Meat Boy Forever instead. Epic Games has not issued an explanation for the change.

The Fallout universe continues to expand. The upcoming Fallout tabletop game Fallout: Factions opened up pre-orders earlier this month.
