LEGO Fortnite players hoping to receive extra goodies in the form of a new Battle Pass will have to wait even longer than initially stated, following an extension to the existing pass.
Previously set to come to an end in less than a month, at the start of September, it’s now been pushed back even further by almost two months.
LEGO Fortnite Battle Pass Extended
Spotted by FireMonkey on X, a post advertising the LEGO Pass Gift Token revealed the change in schedule for upcoming content, with the previous end date of September 2 no longer applying.
Instead, the current LEGO Pass will remain until October 31, resulting in an extension of almost two months, and the duration is significantly longer than any other Pass.
For comparison, the extension to the LEGO Pass will mean that two entire seasons of Fortnite Festival will have happened in the same period.
Epic Games has not provided a reason for the extension, but given it comes around three weeks before LEGO Fortnite players were expecting a new Pass to be released, it will serve as disappoiuntment for the community.
The last significant LEGO Fortnite update arrived on July 16 with the Parts, Power & The Machinist update, which consisted of a limited-time period to collect vehicle parts to construct custom vehicles.
The final day of the specified content in that update is later this week, on August 13, and it remains to be seen whether anything fresh will be coming to the mode before the arrival of the new Pass.
