NBA The Run is set to release in less than a month. Get ready to take it back to the streets when NBA The Run, the latest arcade basketball experience, launches on June 9 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
The base game will be priced at $29.99, while the Deluxe Edition, which includes 3 unlocked Rookie variants and bonus in-game currency, will cost $39.99. The Deluxe Edition bonuses feature the Stephen Curry Golden State Warriors ‘09 Rookie Variant, Luka Dončić Dallas Mavericks ‘18 Rookie Variant, Kevin Durant Seattle Supersonics ‘07 Rookie Variant, and 1000 CRED, the in-game currency.
“You can use that CRED to purchase items in the Shop, including new alternate jerseys for a specific player, advanced dunk animations, taunts, badges, banners, and more. Shop purchases are simple – you get what you want, no packs to rip here,” noted a developer blog, announcing the release date.
NBA The Run Holding Closed Beta This Weekend

Additionally, it was announced that a closed beta for NBA The Run will begin this weekend, on May 16 at 1:00 PM EST. The playtest will last only three hours, but the developers say they have already gathered a ton of feedback from their original playtest less than two weeks ago.
“RUN it back with us this weekend on Saturday, May 16, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm PST and try out street legend Spin Cycle, known for his overzealous swag and unbelievable handles, in addition to trying out new players and Knockout Solos, our mode where each player controls their whole team of 3,” noted the blog.
