If you are one of the many Call of Duty & Warzone players eagerly awaiting the Modern Warfare 3 in-game reveal event, there may finally be some news on that front.
According to various data miners, the in-game reveal event looks like it will be taking place on Thursday, August 17.

“Data miners have found references to a banner saying “worldwide reveal of Modern Warfare III August 17 in Warzone” in the Warzone game files after today’s update,” CharlieIntel posted on Twitter — errr X — via HeyImAlaix.
There’s no information on what the reveal event will entail. There’s been plenty of talk about carry-over from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and how the two games will work together.
The leaks do come on the heels of key art for Modern Warfare 3 being found after Wednesday’s Season 5 update went live for players.
Insider Gaming has reached out to Activision for comment on the Modern Warfare 3 reveal event leak. Until a response is received or the date comes, it looks like we’ll have to wait for more.
