Ahri Joining Fortnite is Another Hint That K/DA Might Be Back

Leakers claim that League of Legends champion Ahri is coming to Fortnite, which could be another sign that K/DA is returning.

Earlier this year, leakers claimed that K-pop group K/DA will return in League of Legends 2026 Season 3.

And that feels like a strong reason as to why Ahri may have been chosen as the LoL representative in Fortnite’s new season filled with gaming legends.

Ahri is set to be added to Fortnite as a skin and will also get her own Mythic weapon, which shoots homing orbs and grants Siphon & Speed Dash abilities.

League of Legends x Fortnite

A new season has arrived with the release of the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 patch.

This season, Fortnite Override, will see 20+ ‘Gaming Legends’ added to the game, with content themed around Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, Pac-Man and many more.

It’s expected that Ahri will be a later addition to this illustrious list, though she won’t be the first LoL champion in the battle royale game.

Back in 2021, Jinx was added to Fortnite as part of the launch of the Arcane series on Netflix, in the first instance of a LoL character being playable outside of a Riot-made game.

Then in 2022, her sister Vi was also added to Fortnite in another Arcane collab. As part of the partnership, LoL, Valorant, Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra were added to the Epic Games Store.

Similar to how Epic used Arcane, Ahri has probably been chosen for this new collaboration because of K/DA’s wider reach and mass appeal.

The LoL-based girl group has had almost 1.5 billion plays on Spotify and still boasts around 2m monthly listeners despite six years with no music.
