Modern Warfare 3’s highly anticipated ranked play has been delayed, Call of Duty has announced.
The update comes courtesy of the official @CODUpdates Twitter account, which revealed that Ranked Play has been delayed due to a critical issue.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, MWIII Ranked Play will be delayed while we investigate a recently discovered critical issue. Our teams are working to solve this issue and launch #MWIII Ranked Play as soon as possible”, the Twitter account said.
No new launch date has been announced for the gamemode.
This isn’t the only problem that the Call of Duty franchise has faced today either after the latest update has essentially caused Warzone to be broken.
Countless clips of the broken game have surfaced online, resulting in Raven Software issuing a statement.
Call of Duty is set to release Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War later this year, with a Black Ops 2 sequel (semi-futuristic) in 2025.
