I can confirm that Mistfall Hunter will not be a free-to-play game, and the studio has revealed that the different editions are paid.

How Much Does Mistfall Hunter Cost?
Mistfall Hunter has two editions, and the Standard Edition costs $24.99, with the Deluxe Edition ramping things up slightly to $39.99.
It’s up to you which level of support you offer to Mistfall Hunter, but the bare-minimum price tag is $24.99.

Although it has been made clear in a press release: ‘Players who buy Standard can upgrade to Deluxe at any time to unlock the same bonus content.’
