Game Freak is making a detour from the usual Pokémon and Nintendo activities to give us an entirely new action RPG, Beast of Reincarnation. It’s a harsh departure from the studio’s usual work, but it’s teeing up to be quite the adventure, with many fans eager to see what’s in store.
Naturally, plenty are wondering whether there’s a chance that they can get their hands on it for free, with many turning towards XBOX Game Pass. The service is in a great state at the moment, with tons of new games being added every week—but is Beast of Reincarnation one of them?
Is Beast Of Reincarnation On XBOX Game Pass?
It’s good news: Beast of Reincarnation will be available for XBOX Game Pass subscribers at launch, though it will depend on which edition of the service you’re subscribed to.
Beast of Reincarnation is available on day one to subscribers of XBOX Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass. Unfortunately, that means if you’ve subscribed to Essential or Premium, you’ll need to upgrade your tier, or buy the game outright.
That said, there’s always the chance it arrives on lower tiers in the future, typically after a year or so, but that’s never a guarantee. Instead, if you’re after the game the moment it releases, you’ll need to subscribe to the higher tiers.
What Edition Of Beast Of Reincarnation Is On XBOX Game Pass?
XBOX Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers will receive access to the standard edition of Beast of Reincarnation at launch.
There are two editions for Beast of Reincarnation: the Standard edition and the Digital Deluxe edition. Some exclusive goodies are included in the more premium edition, such as unique cosmetics as well as a healthy chunk of in-game currency.
However, if you want to get your hands on them, you’ll need to purchase the edition yourself, as only the Standard edition is available with XBOX Game Pass. If you’re not fussed about digital bonuses, though, and just want the base game, then the Standard edition should be more than enough to tide you over.
