Minecraft is bringing a theme park to London in 2027.
During Minecraft LIVE, it was announced that the franchise had been working with Merlin Entertainments to bring the world of Minecraft to life. The theme park will be part of London’s Chessington World of Adventures in 2027.
What to Expect from the Minecraft World Experience
It’s promised that the theme park will be packed with references to the game. The first-ever Minecraft roller coaster is in the works. There will also be food themed after the video game. There will be opportunities to meet the mobs and more.
“This is a truly epic collaboration between Mojang Studios and Merlin Entertainments, but we also recruited creators to help with some of the trickier challenges. We’ll share more on Minecraft World soon,” the team wrote in the recap blog.
