Reports of a new Metro game have finally been confirmed by 4A Games and Deep Silver. Metro 2039 is officially in the works, and not only do we have a title, but you won’t have to wait long for the first glimpse of some action.
It’s been seven years since Metro Exodus, and a new chapter is overdue. Recently, rumblings emerged of a new Metro game announcement expected. It turned out it wasn’t just talk, and it’s time to walk the walk.
First Look At Metro 2039 On April 16

Deep Silver‘s website has been updated with the announcement of Metro 2039.
“Metro 2039 — Join us for the reveal of the next chapter of Metro,” the site says, and if that wasn’t enough, your taste buds are about to be tickled further!
You can tune in on April 16 at 10 AM PDT, 12 PM CT, 1 PM ET, or 6 PM BST, for the game’s official unveiling.
The stream will be live on YouTube via the ‘Xbox First Look: METRO 2039 | 4A Games + Deep Silver’ premier on the official Xbox YouTube channel.
Not much else has been revealed, so if you’re eager for the first Metro 2039 tidbits, you’d better keep some time free during the presentation!
