With just hours until Mecha Break launches worldwide, Amazing Seasun Games has revealed what players have in store for them in the Season 0, the opening season of content.
Releasing as one of July’s first big games, Mecha Break is a free-to-play live-service title that puts players in control of a variety of mechs, with players then facing off against each other, and the signs from the open beta are encouraging.
In an exclusive interview with Insider Gaming in February, Kris Kwok, the visionary behind Mecha Break, teased that content is planned for three full seasons of the game—and now we’ve got a full insight into everything happening in Season 0: Rain of Fire.
Mecha Break Season 0: Rain of Fire Details

Kicking off immediately upon release of the title, Season 0: Rain of Fire will last three months. An end date has not been announced, but is expected to occur in early October, per the timeline provided.
Seasonal items available for unlock include three Strikers, Outfits, Season Patterns, and more customization options, which are unlocked through exchanging Mission Tokens—earned by completing matches, ticking off weekly operation missions, and limited-time events in-game.
Some of those events have already been shared, beginning with both Christian’s Challenge and Rally Order from release. In Christian’s Challenge, players are tasked with accumulating more Mission Tokens than Christian each week, with rewards distributed weekly. Meanwhile, the Rally Order event sees players select a theme and form a tactical unit.
Ace Conquest training is also available, which features daily sign-ins, Striker Design adjustments, Base Exploration, and Test Pilot challenges, among others, to earn additional cosmetics and further Mission Token rewards.
Account linking also provides rewards each month, while joining the Discord community also provides additional rewards.
As expected, the shop will also be full of items available to purchase upon launch, offering exclusive cosmetic items and quick access to additional Strikers. A big change from the beta, however, is the first 12 Strikers are available for free, while seven-day trials are available for others.
