Sonic PICO PARK launches on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch on November 12, bringing Sonic and friends to an 8-player co-op puzzle adventure game.
The crossover that brought Sega‘s top mascots into the world of Pico Park has been underway for several months, and there were even playable demos for the media at Summer Game Fest. This is one of many titles being released to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog.
SONIC PICO PARK Comes to Switch 2 and Switch

The news came from a press release that spotlights new screenshots of the upcoming title.
The description notes it’ll be released on both Nintendo Switch platforms. The game is also slated for release on Steam, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series hardware.
Get ready to race through the world as Knuckles, Amy, Tails and more. Sonic the Hedgehog and friends appear in the co-op action-puzzle fun of PICO PARK, with stages featuring rings, loops and springs, plus support for 2 to 8 players locally or online. Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on Nov. 12.
The November release date is interesting because that month has been dominated by the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 release, due out on November 19. Now, with titles like this and the upcoming remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time also set for a November release, it shows there are other titles beyond GTA.
Of course, both of these previously mentioned games are coming to Nintendo hardware, which GTA 6 is not.
The Sonic team previously discussed this game, noting they learned a lot from the independent developers behind PICO PARK.
