As announced in the Season 7.5 roadmap, the current Marvel Rivals season will end on May 15, 2026, with Season 8 kicking off right where it left off.
This makes Season 7.5 a shorter season than usual for Marvel Rivals, with the entire thing wrapped up in just four weeks. Usually, a full Season lasts nine weeks, but this time around it was cut down by a week to run for eight instead.

Sure, that means you have less time to grind Ranked and engage with the season, but on the bright side, it means new content is coming even quicker than usual—hopefully that takes the form of a new Vanguard!

Which Heroes Are Arriving With Marvel Rivals Season 8?
It hasn’t been announced just yet, but judging by the teasers in Season 7.5, there are a few heroes that could be on the cards to join the line-up.
The obvious suggestions are Cyclops and Devil Dinosaur/Moon Girl, as both heroes were teased in the final Gallery Card of Season 7.5. Prior seasons have teased new heroes the same way, and they’ve both been introduced shortly afterwards, so it’d be a surprise if it wasn’t those two.

That being said, there are rumours for other characters, with The Hood, Captain Marvel and Mystique all gaining traction and seemingly feasible based on ongoing lore and previous teasers.
