CI Games has now officially received all the funding they need to self-publish Lords of the Fallen 2. The company signed a syndicated credit facility with Erste Bank Polska and Bank Ochrony Srodowiska for $32 million to cover the completion of the game, launch, and refinancing of the existing debt.
On October 30, 2026, Marek Tyminski, founder and CEO of CI Games, announced the funding on X (formerly Twitter).
Lords of the Fallen 2 to Get a Release Date in December 2026
Prior to the funding announcement, CI Games had delayed the release of Lords of the Fallen 2 to “further refine and strengthen the overall experience.” CI Games also ended an agreement with Epic Games to keep the publishing exclusive to Epic’s platform in April 2026, however, this information wasn’t released until May.
The game is currently set to release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in the first quarter of 2027, with an official release date to come in December 2026. In their statement, CI Games says it expects the sales from the game to cover most of the loan.
“The financing matures in August 2027 and is expected to be repaid primarily from sales of Lords of the Fallen II following its launch,” they said.
Tyminski states that it was important to him to be able to make this happen without impacting the shares for the current shareholders.
“I know how much potential Lords of the Fallen II has, which is why I have committed to hold my entire shareholding for the full term of the financing,” he said
