The first LEGO Fortnite cinematic trailer has a release date.
Ahead of the release of LEGO Fortnite, Epic Games has revealed that the trailer will go live on December 6, at 10 am ET/3 pm GMT. The trailer will be posted to the Fortnite YouTube channel and will give players a better look at the mode ahead of the release of the mode the following day.
The LEGO Fortnite mode will be a survival mode, with the first indications being that it could be similar to games such as Minecraft, and it will include over 1200 existing skins turned into LEGO characters so your locker will be transferrable to the new mode. The LEGO Fortnite mode is set to launch on December 7, 2023, followed by Rocket Racing on December 8, and Fortnite Festival on December 9.
With Fortnite Chapter 5 here, it seems set to transform the game in ways we haven’t seen before since it launched in 2017. Epic Games has always listened to the community and introduced features and modes that are highly requested, such as Zero Build and a strong focus on user-generated Creative mode content. But, Chapter 5 is bringing some of the biggest changes ever seen in the game.
Following the conclusion of the short-lived Fortnite OG season, the future seemed unsure as players were curious as to what Epic Games had up its sleeve, but following the Big Bang event, which crashed the servers for multiple hours due to its popularity, all of the uncertainty was squashed.
In addition to Epic Games announcing that Fortnite OG would be returning in 2024, hopefully, as a permanent mode alongside Battle Royale and Zero Build, the Big Bang event revealed the long-awaited collaboration between Fortnite and LEGO, a Rocket League-inspired racing mode, and a Rock Band-inspired rhythm-based music mode.
