Lara Croft is Coming to Dead by Daylight July 16, 2024

Dead by Daylight Tomb Raider

In a new post via X, the Dead by Daylight account officially confirmed that Lara Croft will be the next survivor and release on July 16, 2024.

The developers elaborated on Croft’s perks in the full PTB patch notes released today. Lara Croft will include the Finesse, Hardened, and Specialist perks.

Finesse will make Croft’s fast vaults 20 percent faster. Hardened can allow Croft to reveal the Killer’s aura instead of screaming. Finally, the Specialist perk introduces a token system that can lower the maximum required generator progress.

Today’s patch notes also detail some balancing changes coming to The Knight, The Singularity, maps, and more. Fortunately, that does include some extensive bug fixes.

Earlier this month, Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive revealed it would face new layoffs affecting nearly 100 employees. However, Dead by Daylight continues to expand with impressive new updates and collaborations.

In May, fans also got a first look at Project T, which is set in the Dead by Daylight universe.

Besides Dead by Daylight, Lara Croft has previously seen other collaborations such as the Call of Duty Tomb Raider pack from last year.

More recently, there’s a lot of traction around Tomb Raider adaptations. A live-action series is coming to Amazon Prime Video. Animated series The Legend of Lara Croft is also coming in October 2024, featuring Hayley Atwell as Croft.
