K/DA Will Make Long-Awaited Return on October 20

It has finally been confirmed that League of Legends‘ K-pop group K/DA are officially returning on October 20, 2026.

The band, made up of Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa, originally debuted in 2019 with the hit single POP/STARS, which has over 435m plays on Spotify and 668m views on YouTube.

After the huge success of Netflix’s animated movie KPop Demon Hunters, which took inspiration from K/DA, there was high demand for Riot to bring the group back.

Now, six years after the ALL OUT EP, K/DA is returning with a new song and “Firestarter” LoL skins as revealed by leakers.

New 2026 Music Video

K/DA’s new song and music video will be released next Tuesday and will seemingly be animated by Fortiche Studios.

Both Fortiche Productions and concept artist Adrien Genilier responded to the announcement on Twitter.

The French animation studio is well-known for creating the Arcane LoL Netflix series and also animated K/DA’s first music video.

It’s believed the group’s new song will be called ‘Watch Me’ as this was registered on the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers website.

However, the upcoming skins are called ‘Firestarter’ and the new HEARTSTEEL and True Damage skins were named after their new songs.

Plus, all of the teasers so far have involved fire too. It’s therefore possible that K/DA will release more than one song.

When Will The New K/DA Skins Release?

Following the pattern set by HEARTSTEEL and True Damage, it seems likely that the new K/DA skins will release with LoL Patch 26.22 on Wednesday, November 4.

Therefore, the new K/DA skins will probably be revealed and released on the PBE on October 21, with LoL Patch 26.21.

Will K/DA Have A New Lineup?

It appears increasingly likely that Riot will refresh the lineup of music artists behind K/DA.

So far, all of K/DA’s songs have featured Miyeon (Ahri) and Soyeon (Akali) from the K-pop group (G)I-DLE , Madison Beer (Evelynn), and Jaira Burns (Kai’Sa).

However, both HEARTSTEEL and True Damage had new artists for their latest songs, which suggests K/DA will do the same.

Though Soyeon returned to her role as Akali for True Damage so it’s likely she and Miyeon will return for K/DA too.
