PUBG Mobile players can play Counter-Strike’s iconic map of Dust II as part of the ‘G2 x PUBG MOBILE: Community Challenge.’
The community tournament 5v5 teams compete for prizes awarded across two qualifiers on September 24 before a four-team finals on September 25.
How to play Dust II on PUBG Mobile
As part of their continued partnership, G2 and PUBG MOBILE have announced an upcoming amateur community tournament taking place from 24th-25th October on a PUBG MOBILE map inspired by the iconic Dust II, named ‘PMG2’.
With the goal of introducing G2 and Counter-Strike fans to PUBG MOBILE Esports using a familiar location, the G2 x PUBG MOBILE: Community Challenge will see teams of five go head-to-head in classic versus matches. Prizes will be awarded to teams that make it to the Finals, ranging from gift cards to merch for the top performers.
Set on a custom PUBG MOBILE map inspired by one of the most recognisable battlegrounds in esports, these PUBG MOBILE matches will also share a similar format to the game that inspired it. Teams will go head-to-head in a 5v5 format, with a single life per player, in a classic bomb-defusal mode.
The challenge will begin on Saturday, 24th October with two qualifiers, split across an afternoon and an evening block. Each qualifier will feature 32 teams in a best-of-one, single-elimination structure, for a total of 64 teams. The top two teams standing from each qualifier will then secure their place in the Finals, which takes place on Sunday, 25th October.
There, the final four teams will compete in a similar single-elimination structure, but with every match from the semi-finals onwards played as a best-of-three. The semi-final winners will meet in the Final to determine the tournament winner, while the two other semi-finalists battle it out for third place.
Staying true to the goal of introducing PUBG MOBILE, and mobile gaming more broadly, to new audiences, accessibility and fairness are crucial, and so participation is reserved for amateur gamers only. Semi-pro, pro players, and anyone who participated in the 2026 PUBG MOBILE Club Open (PMCO) Group Stage will not be eligible.
To enter, teams must register with a minimum of four players and a maximum of five players, alongside one substitute. Each player must be at least 16 years of age and based in Western Europe. Players can join the action on either a mobile or tablet device on which PUBG MOBILE is available.
Tournament coordination, match schedules, and results will be managed through the official G2 Discord. Players can register from today until Friday, 23rd October.
