July’s PlayStation Plus Monthly Games Have Been Revealed

PlayStation Plus will offer three monthly games to Essential players in July, and Modern Warfare 3 is one of them.

The latest announcement regarding PlayStation Plus games followed shortly after Sony shared significant news with players: the company will cease physical disc releases for games launched after January 28. It seems that, to appease players after this announcement, Sony is including a substantial release in the July PS Plus monthly games lineup.

PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for July 2026 Features Modern Warfare 3 and 2 More Titles

The new blog post from Sony confirms that July’s PlayStation Plus monthly games will be free to claim between July 7 and August 3, 2026. The first entry is the big one, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – Cross-Gen Bundle for PS5 and PS4. Then players also get For The King 2 for PS5 & PS4 and CrossCode for PS5 & PS4 in July. Players have until July 6 to add the June 2026 PS Plus monthly games to their libraries.

Modern Warfare 3 will feature a brand-new campaign that includes modernized versions of classic multiplayer maps, as well as an open-world PvE Zombies experience. For The King 2 is a tabletop adventure RPG in which you and your four-player party will journey through Fahrul to confront the tyrannical queen and put an end to her oppressive reign.CrossCode is a retro-inspired 2D action RPG with 16-bit-style graphics. Players will enjoy smooth physics, a fast-paced combat system, and engaging puzzle mechanics, all set within a captivating sci-fi story.
