Images and videos of Apple‘s new iPhone Duo have surfaced on social media in recent days, as folks have had their first hands-on experiences with the all-new device. It’s a folding phone with an incredible screen and remarkable capabilities, and from what we’ve seen, it could represent a phenomenal mobile gaming experience, but it’s extremely expensive.
If you’re the kind of person who never misses an Apple product, then you’re in luck. If you’re not, you might want to hold off on breaking the bank. Whichever way you lean, there’s no denying how impressive the iPhone Duo looks.
Duo Offers Multiple Gaming Perspectives
In an interesting clip that was published and subsequently circulated on social media, we saw Zenless Zone Zero being played in three seamless perspectives, with the user of the iPhone Duo manipulating the phone’s folding screen.
It started with a standard horizontal perspective, then was turned into a wider, larger perspective with the Duo being opened up, and then it ended with a vertical perspective. The transitions were seamless, smooth, and looked gorgeous on the sumptuous screen.
I’ve never been an Apple fan, and to this day, I’ve never owned a single Apple product, but I can appreciate the technology at play.
Unfortunately, the iPhone Duo is hitting the market as potentially the highest-priced cellphone ever made. In the United Kingdom (where I hail from), it costs £1,999 just to get started. That’s for the 256 GB model.

But if you want the all-singing, all-dancing, maximum-capacity model, with 2 TB of storage, you’ll need to part with around £3,199. Apple has put pricing parity in place, in a sense, so it’s the same in the United States – $3,199 for the top-of-the-range model.
The iPhone Duo is spectacular, though. When fully folded out, it boasts a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display. The battery accommodates up to 44 hours of playback, and the A20 Pro chip and six-core CPU (with seven-core GPU) should make gaming a doddle.
It even boasts a 16-core neural engine and hardware-accelerated ray tracing for the best visual experience possible.
