If you took miniature characters, gave them guns, and had them fight toys and monsters in relatable areas and walks of life, you get Hypercharge. The shooter has been released everywhere else, but it’s time for PS4 and PS5 users to have their playtime.
Hypercharge first debuted eight years ago in early access. You might even blink twice at this fact, but it’s true. The toy-sized shooter went through years of testing and development to create the perfect small soldiers. You fight enemy toys and other evils in first and third-person action, and the Nintendo Switch got first dibs on its full release.
Digital Cybercherries was slowly winding up the Hypercharge box—eventually bringing it to PC and Xbox. The final stop on the multiplatform merry-go-round is here.
May 30 PS4 & PS5 Release Date Announced For Hypercharge
Its developers are evidently passionate about its game. A heartfelt message popped up on the Hypercharge X socials on April 30, and it gave a glimpse into the shooter’s future.
“We have no publisher support. No outside funding. No huge marketing budget. Just five grown adults who made the game they wished they had as kids. I’m extremely proud to announce our action figure game, Hypercharge, is launching on PlayStation 5 and 4 on May 30, 2025!”
You can wishlist Hypercharge right now, and it costs $29.99 to buy.
