How to Download Assassin’s Creed Codename: Jade Beta
Eagle-eyed Assassin’s Creed fans have tracked down a way to access the Assassin’s Creed Codename: Jade beta on mobile devices early, uncovering the entire game. Recently, it was discovered that by installing a particular app and filling out a test form requesting access to the game’s Alpha, one could gain access to the game’s beta product.
This has been verified as being legitimate and owing to a series of screenshots leaked online, we now have a much better picture of the game’s earliest scenes, including a character customisation menu. On the testing systems, the beta product is named ‘Codename Explore’, but a quick glance reveals that it absolutely is, of course, the Assassin’s Creed Codename: Jade beta.
An Epic Adventure, On Mobile
Following a leak that saw several minutes of gameplay being posted online, the entire beta product has now been blown wide open. This has given Assassin’s Creed fans unrestricted to a near-finished version of the game, and by all accounts, it’s a fantastic and fairly polished product.
Hours ago, leakers also published Assassin’s Creed Codename: Jade’s ‘Ezio’s Family’ theme online, too.
In the Assassin’s Creed Codename: Jade beta leak, initially posted by InGameLoop.com, it has been revealed that character customization is a go from the start, with players having the ability to choose either male or a female protagonist, which has been the norm since Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey.
It’s also confirmed that the protagonist will be ‘the apprentice of Wei Yu’, a character that existed in the Assassin’s Creed lore since Assassin’s Creed II (2009). Reportedly, the beta product will be online for ‘2.5 months’, which gives us a good idea of how long it’ll be before AC Codename: Jade is released in full.
However, if the leaks are to be believed (and they seem credible), then AC Codename: Jade will require quite a powerful, up-to-date phone in order to run properly. It was noted that the beta product requires ‘iPhone 11 minimum to run’, and it soaks up a hefty amount of storage – almost 12GB in total.
You can download Assassin’s Creed Codenamed Jade here. You’ll then need to fill out this Google form to gain access.
