After a long wait, players can finally explore the alien planet of Agent D’Nur to their heart’s content in Doom: The Dark Ages. Before jumping in for the first time, check out our Chapter 1 guide to help you get through the Village of Khalim in one piece.

And if you want to slay Arachnotrons and Hell Knights in style, Bethesda released a free skin that can easily be claimed.
How to get the Butcher Doom Slayer Skin in Doom: The Dark Ages

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to claim the Butcher skin.
- Create a Bethesda.net account or log in to your existing account.
- Go to the free bundle website.
- Opt into email communications from the Marketing Preferences page.
- Click the Claim Now button at the top of the page.
- Boot up Doom: The Dark Ages.
- In the main menu, under Customize, select Slayer, Archvile, or Marauder to change your skins and weapon skins.
- You can also choose Profile to change your nameplate and icon.
If you opt out of Bethesda email communications after claiming items in this promotion, you can keep those items. This isn’t the only free skin in Doom: The Dark Ages. NVIDIA released the Verdant Doom Slayer skin, and the Guardian Doom Slayer skin is included in Twitch drops.
Everything Included in The Bethesda Free Bundle
The Bethesda free bundle also includes a handful of cosmetic items for other games. Here is a list of everything you get.
- Fallout 76 (Beelzebilly suit, Beelzebilly head, Mr. Demonic backpack),
- DOOM: Eternal (Lux Slayer Special Edition Set, Nightmare Marauder Special Edition Set, Majestic Archvile Special Edition Set)
After opting into email communications, these items will automatically be claimed and can be found in-game. Equipping each item will be different for both games.
