Recently, players have found themselves stuck on the ship loading screen in Helldivers 2, and it’s become problematic. No one can help with the ongoing issue!
How to Solve Stuck on Ship Loading Screen in Helldivers 2
If you find yourself dealing with the “stuck on ship loading screen” bug in Helldivers 2, you can attempt to resolve the problem by:
- Sitting through the entire intro cutscene. That’s right; the full intro movie, with the man who watches the Terminids attack his family before enlisting to force Super Freedom to spread across the galaxy. Sit back and relax because you must watch the entire movie.
- It’s a bit extreme, but some users have found that restarting their system, even on a PC, will resolve the ship loading screen bug altogether.
- Follow the usual steps to verify game files through the Steam Library. You will:
- Right-click Helldivers 2 in your Steam Library.
- Select ‘Properties’ and then ‘Installed Files.’
- At the bottom right, choose “verify integrity of game files.”
- If you run a VPN in the background, turn it off while playing Helldivers 2. According to the developers, a VPN will interfere with the game and cause you to lose connection or fail to play online.
- If you have a notably complex firewall, consider opening up the interface and deactivating it temporarily or creating an exception for Helldivers 2 before launching the game.

I found that you can disconnect your Internet and it will load into the ship but it will say you have disconnected, but you can just connect back to the Internet and it works perfectly normal after that. No restarting or watching cutscenes fully. May not work for everyone but it worked for me.
