Fortnite’s Star Wars-themed Galactic Battle mini-season is now in the latter stages, but there’s still some big content drops, with the latest bringing the Mandalorians to the island.
These powerful warriors can provide great assistance in your quest to secure victory in Fortnite, but their allegiance is not immediately available. Instead, you need to earn their trust.
Whether you want to add an NPC to your squad to assist in battle or purchase rare weapons from a Mandalorian, their trust must be earned, and we’ll tell you how to do exactly that.
How to Earn Mandalorian Trust in Fortnite
To earn the trust of the Mandalorians in Fortnite, complete the Story Quest. Like all the other Story Quests this season, including the ones from Jar Jar Binks and Leia Organa, they will not immediately show.
Instead, find a Mandalorian on the map and interact with them. In the interaction menu, a few options will show, but without their trust, there’s only one option to click—the white diamond with an exclamation mark, signalling an available quest.
The task is to scout three pieces of intel from outposts. There are six potential intel sources to collect, with two at each Outpost, in our experience, so you won’t need to visit them all.
The intel locations are marked with the same white diamond and exclamation marks that all story quests are, so just approach them and interact with them.
Once three have been collected, another step in the quest is complete, but to fully complete the chain, return the Intel to any Mandalorian on the map.
When that’s done, you can visit any Mandalorian NPC on the map to recruit them, purchase weapons, and even purchase a Jetpack.
Where to Find Mandalorian NPCs in Fortnite
There are four Mandalorian NPCs to find on Fortnite, each offering different bonuses, support, and gear. When it comes to the quest above, you can begin with any Mandalorian, and you won’t need to return the Intel to the same one.
The Mandalorians are found in the following locations:
- On a cliff near a First Order Outpost, northeast of Magic Mosses.
- West of Outlaw Oasis, near to where Chewbacca is found.
- On a riverbank northeast of Canyon Crossing and southwest of Foxy Floodgate.
- On the eastern edge of the map, south of the First Order Base.
