Fortnite’s mini Star Wars-orientated season has plenty to offer, with the arrival of Luke Skywalker to the island providing another quest to help you churn through the Battle Pass.
The Star Wars Galactic Battle season introduced plenty to the game, though it won’t remain for the long-term with the season ending on June 7, but Epic Games has revealed their plans for weekly updates over the course of the mini-season.
Luke Skywalker’s addition to the map as an NPC added yet another quest to complete and we’re here to walk you through it.
Where to Find Luke Skywalker in Chapter 6 Season 3
Luke Skywalker is waiting south of the Resistance Base and north of Shiny Shafts. He’s found right on the road where the darker green on the map switches to a lighter shade of green.
As this isn’t a named location, you should be able to drop directly on Luke Skywalker without facing too much threat from enemies, though remain vigilant for anyone who abandoned a drop at Shiny Shafts.
The quest was introduced on May 8, and, the closer to te release date you’re trying to tick off the quest, the higher the likelihood you will encounter other players with the same goal.
How to Complete Luke Skywalker Story Quests
The Luke Skywalker quest in Fortnite is split into three steps, all of which are part of the same overarching goal. Thankfully, it’s pretty simple and there’s only one task that requires some actual work.
Follow these steps to complete them all.
- Speak to Luke Skywalker and choose the dialogue options that show a diamond with an exclamation mark.
- Run through the first ring that appears.
- Continue to run through each of the rings as they appear.
- Return to Luke Skywalker and initiate dialogue to complete the quest.
Though it shouldn’t take too much effort to complete, the entire quest has to be completed in one match. Unlike other tracked quests, you can’t chip away at it in different matches.
Luke Skywalker Story Quest rewards
When completed for the first time, the Luke Skywalker quest in Fortnite dishes out a hefty 30,000xp to unlock rewards from the Battle Pass and increase your season level.
If you’re near to Luke Skywalker, it’s always worth completing the quest as you are also granted a Legendary DL-44 Blaster Pistol. Compared to other Legendary and Mythic weapons this season, there aren’t many that are easier to get your hands on.
